De zogenaamde “wijn in opleiding” op Schloss Rheinfels heeft een lange traditie.
\nV\u00f3\u00f3r de pandemie van het coronavirus had de voormalige hotelexploitant Gerd Ripp het geweldige idee om zijn eigen heerlijke wijn te cre\u00ebren in samenwerking met Stephan Fendel<\/strong> van het wijnhuis Weiler-Fendel<\/strong> en zijn stagiaires van het hotel<\/strong>.
\nIn totaal hebben al vier jaargangen hun weg gevonden naar de wijnkelder van Rheinfels. <\/p>\n

Nu, onder de vlag van Privathotels Dr Lohbeck, werd het project vorig jaar nieuw leven ingeblazen.
\n Jens Sebbesse<\/strong>, hoteldirecteur van Schloss Rheinfels, was opnieuw in staat om Stephan Fendel uit het naburige Oberwesel, niet alleen een absolute wijnexpert maar ook een zeer goede vriend van het hotel, als partner aan te trekken. <\/p>\n

Binnen het hotel heeft Mathias Helm<\/strong>, de cateringmanager, de supervisie van het project op zich genomen en hij heeft de afgelopen maanden heel wat dagen in de wijngaard doorgebracht.<\/p>\n

In totaal negen stagiairs uit verschillende takken van de opleiding in Hotel Schloss Rheinfels leerden elke meter van de Oelsberg kennen.
\nVan het bewerken van de grond en het snoeien tot het oogsten en verwerken, ze begeleidden “hun” wijn.
\nDoor hun betrokkenheid hebben de jongeren een enorm inzicht gekregen in de wijnbouw en kunnen ze erg trots zijn op het resultaat, de 2023 Oberweseler Oelsberg Riesling Sp\u00e4tlese – edels\u00fc\u00df<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

De Oelsberg in Oberwesel is meer dan een wijngaard – het is een schat.
\nDe helling van 63% en de pure zuidelijke ligging cre\u00ebren ideale omstandigheden.
\nDe unieke leisteenbodem wordt door een bodemfout afgewisseld met rode zandsteen, waardoor unieke smaaknuances in de riesling worden opgeroepen.
\nEen waar meesterwerk van de natuur.
\nDe 2023 Riesling Sp\u00e4tlese werd geoogst bij 92 graden Oechsle.
\nHij heeft prachtige perzik- en abrikozensmaken in de neus en ook in de mond.
\nHij is speels maar krachtig en vol harmonie.
\nHet edele zoetje wordt perfect ge\u00efntegreerd door een heerlijk harmonieuze zuurgraad.
\nDe ideale wijn om zo van te genieten, bij Aziatische gerechten of hartige regionale kazen. <\/p>\n
