With our different types of restaurants, we offer you a variety of choices – whether regional and rustic in our historic Burgschänke, or more “typical” in our hotel restaurant “Auf Scharffeneck”, with adjoining winter garden and the cozy “Silcher Stuben”. Everywhere you can see our credo: “We cook with passion and cultivate the high wine culture”!
From this guiding principle, we offer you just as the classics from the kitchen and cellar and also strengthen our home with products from the region. In addition to the dishes offered here all year round, which we as professionals naturally master, we naturally offer you daily changing – especially seasonal – new ideas. CASTLE TAVERN ,THE LANDGRAVE’

Our rustic pub with world heritage terrace.
In our rustic castle tavern with the adjacent “world heritage terrace” we serve you in summer from the hearty Vesper over oven-fresh tarte flambée to main courses “à la region” a cuisine according to the motto: “Small but fine”!
In winter, our rustic castle tavern welcomes you as a cozy pub with a fireplace.
Please understand that for organizational reasons a table reservation both in the Burgschänke and on our terrace is unfortunately NOT possible.

Due to renovation work, our castle tavern is currently closed until 01 April 2023!
